Anti-Inflammatory Activity |

Cur-500 has shown anti-inflammatory
effect in acute, Sub acute and chronic models of
inflammation in mice and rats. The effective dosage
in mice was 1002 mg/kg. Clinically Cur-500 was tried
on humans and showed satisfactory results. Though
Cur-500 was found weaker than synthetic drugs, no
side effects were reported. The anti-inflammatory,
antispasmodic and liver protective activities of
the extracts of curium conga has been reflected
in the work of Ammon HPT and Wahl MA (Dept.of pharmacology,

The gastric and anti ulcer
properties of Cur-500 as well as turmeric have been
investigated and the uses are well documented.Cur-500
is reported to increase bile flow. Cur-500 when
administered in the from of a sodium salt in the
bile in low doses decreased the formation of cholesterol
gall stones. |

to protect liver against a variety of toxicants

reactive oxygen molecules or oxygen radicals generated
by carcinogens or their metabolites in the body
